Angela Straker

Angela (BKin, BCRPA SFL) is the Fitness and Wellness Program Manager at the Richmond Olympic Oval, venue of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  She has worked in the fitness industry for 18 years and has many years’ experience as a group exercise director in Calgary and in North Vancouver where she has recruited, trained, evaluated and maintained a team of over 100 instructors.

Angela is a well known and highly regarded instructor in the fitness community and is a regular guest instructor at Rancho La Puerta, in Baja California, Mexico, one of the world’s top destination fitness spas.

Angela holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and is a BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders. She demonstrates her commitment to continuing education with additional training and certifications from Keiser Cycling, ViPR, TRX, LeBarre, Concept II Group Rowing, Kinesis, Body Training Systems, Kettlebells and Athletes Performance (EXOS). Her love for fitness and inspiring others can be seen through her energetic and motivating classes.

When she is not teaching, managing and inspiring others, she spends time with her family and her two beautiful daughters.
