Judith Hutchinson has been in the fitness business for over 20 years, but who’s counting? Her background in the industry includes the following:
Judith is a BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer, and a well known Fitness Instructor with expertise in many different workout arenas (Spin, Step, Kickbox, and Tabata, HIIT, Stretch Flow, Yolates, Bosu Balance, among others). She is also a Sport Med BC –trained Run Coach, and is probably best known in the community as the Clinic Coordinator of the Vancouver Sun Run training clinics for South Delta for 12 years.
Other certifications include Pilates Instructor, Strength Trainer and Zumba Instructor. She has coached young athletes many times over the years in a variety of areas, including hockey, football and track, and greatly enjoys working with youth.
Judith wrote a fitness column for years in the Delta Optimist, and was interviewed several times regarding Sun Run Training on CKNW and Breakfast Television. She ran five full marathons and qualified for the Boston Marathon, as well as completing the well-known strenuous cycling odyssey from Seattle to Portland (STP).
Judith has also volunteered her time to local community charity efforts many times over the years, notably including the Canadian Cancer Society and the Terry Fox Run, for which she performs the “warm-up”, and she is honored to help carry on the legacy of one of our greatest Canadian heroes.
